[comp.unix.xenix.sco] Problem compiling code created by p2c Rel. 1.16

jrichert@krefcom.kref.sub.org (Jan Richert) (04/27/91)

Software: - SCO Xenix SysV Rel. 2.3.3
          - "p2c" version 1.16, a Pascal to C translator
            by daveg@csvax.caltech.edu
       ( - SCO Unix SysV Rel. 3.2v2.0 )

Problem 1: p2c compiles without problems under SCO Xenix but
dumpes a core after reading in the first line of
           Pascal source when started.

Problem 2: To solve the above problem I compiled p2c using
SCO UNIX Rel. 3.2v2.0 setting the "-xenix" option to cc.
The created binary works fine but there is a new problem
compiling the created C source (using SCO Xenix again
           for this).

Watch this:

% p2c fact.p
% cc -I. fact.c libp2c.a

LINK: unresolved externals

__cuclc in file(s):
 libp2c.a(p2clib.c)

Is the "libp2c.a" archive corrupt? If so: Could s.o. mail me a working
version? Otherwise: What's the problem?

Thanks in advance.
