I was wondering if there is a better flavor of termcap curses out there, rather than the ancient dog that is provided with XENIX. For reasons, political and otherwise, terminfo isn't really an option. The problem being that it would be rather nice if curses would grok such things as alternate character sets, and more than three generic attributes (color would be one useful addition).
