Most UNIX boxes come with instructions about | which several files should be edited to add a user to the system. uniqeuid is a step in this direction. get the nemeth, seebass et.al. book on unix sys. admin. for this and much more. aim sells a system. we use a program called mcp which is about to become (or inspire) a front end to a network uid server. the current lisa as a surfeit of uid/account managers. another problem solved at 90% of unix sites. |(5) Accounting.
