I have just been talking to the Canberra tracking station and it appears that they will no be so involved with LANDSAT-5 from now on and also the operator who has been following UOSAT-2 has changed shift and so observations will be much less frequent. A more detailed discussion of the observations they made on UO-2 does seem to lend support to the theory that the 145 MHz beacon is on and misbehaving in some way. I have negotiated with Jodrell Bank (UK) to have access to thier antenna soon to listen for UO-2 but we MUST have reliable orbit data to make this effort and those of Harold Price et al worthwhile. I am sure that everyone realises how essential this is but any ideas for help or means whereby we can expedite these data would be invaluable. Thanks to all who are helping, Martin Sweeting UOSAT Programme Manager
