This may appear twice - my appologies if it does... We received NQS from COSMIC about a year ago and are beginning to use it for job management on several of our larger systems. There is one feature in it which would do us a lot of good - queue complexes. The commands are there to create them, but in the current version distributed by COSMIC, they are not supported. Any attempt to create them yeilds an appropriate error message. I am sure there are a number of other features missing, but queue complexes are the one most important to us. We have been waitin anxiously for the latest release to be made available through COSMIC, but its status has been the same for about 4 months now - its expected any day. Personally, I am not holding my breath. So, here is the question - has anyone made modifications to NQS (as distributed by COSMIC) which implement queue complexes? I know vendors such as Cray have - but I assume their mods are proprietary and would not be available to me (if someome at Cray knows I am wrong on this one, great!). I am, of course, looking for something which can be made available to me for free - no point in paying for something which is going to be implemented in the next release (hopefully)...even if its a year before "any day" rolls around. Thanks, Scott -- This is my signature. There are many like it, but this one is mine.
