[comp.unix.admin] needed a crash course in crash dump!!!!

jkl@PacBell.COM (Jerry K. Lau) (11/01/90)

My AT&T 3B2/600 crashed on Oct 10 and I suspected that the cause was the inode
table related. Because the output of the "user" command showed
"inode of current directory: 599" and the tuneable parameter of
ve_inode and v_s5inode are set to 600. Would anyone of you netters
provide me with your expertise of what exactly caused my system to crash.

I would be grateful if you can send your response via email:
	{pyrmaid!pacbell!pbhyf!jkl}

Thanx in advance.

J. Lau

P.S.
Below are the output from the crash dump. If it isn't
enough data for trouble-shooting, I will be happy to
send you more crash output.
