Problems, Problems, Problems... Has anybody out there ever managed to get Informix-Online to install on a SCO-Unix SysV/386 (rel 3.2) box? After waiting for a call from tech support in Australia for Informix, and our SCO people saying that they don't know about Informix stuff, I haven't been able to get it going at all. Basically tbinit gives and error message about using an illegal shared memory base address and that it wants to use another one. SCO Didn't know, and Informix gave me a set of parameters that according to the manuals would give me 36 MEG! of shared memory (on a 16 meg box), and that didn't work, because it complained about being out of memory. Anybosy got any tips? The docs aren't exactly helpful on this particular matter. Thanks in advance.. -- ============================================================================== | Hamish Marson <hamish@waikato.ac.nz> | | Computer Support Person, Computer Science Department | | University of Waikato | |Disclaimer: Anything said in this message is the personal opinion of the | | finger hitting the keyboard & doesn't represent my employers | | opinion in any way.
