For those of us who bought the MFJ-1224 RTTY/CW modem at Dayton, there seems to be a possible problem with the first RTTY program on the cassette. Mine wouldn't work and neither did the CW program. I called the MFJ technician (601/323-5869) to check out the problem. He confirmed the following cable connections for the "C64": RTTY(demod) pins L,B,C GND pin N CWID pin H RTTY pins J,M CW KEY pin K. The CW program does not work unless you jumper RTTY(demod) to CW(demod). The RTTY may have a problem and is being re- written and will send a new copy to those who request it. """NOTE""" THERE ARE "2" RTTY AND "2" CW PROGRAMS ON EACH SIDE OF THE CASSETTE. TRY THE SECOND RTTY PROGRAM AND IT SHOULD WORK. I have not tested these fixes but if any of you are as frustrated as I was when I couldn't get it to work may want to try this info as it may be a while befor I can. 73 KN9K
