Hi! I one of the support team members for our UNIX network. We are running DEC ULTRIX machines (5000's and 2100's) using nfs and yellow pages to tie the systems together. I am wanting to set up a printer accounting system so I can keep track of who prints how many pages..... We need to charge for laser printer usage..... I am trying to modify the printcap file and build my own shell script to do the accounting and am not being successful. Any info on this subject (how to do it, where to look to learn how, etc.) would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance! Have a good day!
