Does anybody have or know where to get a list of hardware that is compatible with Microport V.2.4? In the manual they only have a list of new hardware in the release notes (at least, that's all I could find). I am looking to purchase a PC that I will be able to run this system on, but I want to make sure my hard drive will be compatible. Will Microport support IDE drives (in the docs, they make mention of an ESDI drive, and I understand that IDE is software compatible with ESDI? Hopefully?)? I'm pretty sure it doesn't support SCSI. Also, any help on compatible or incompatible video options would be of help. Thanks. -- "Watch?? I'm gonna pray, man! Know any good religions?" -- Zaphod Beeblebrox - Steve Wechsler

I have a Seagate 1144A (125 megs, IDE) running under SCO 286 Xenix 2.2.3, with no problems a all. Actually, the only hard part was setting up CMOS, because the AT's bios wouldn't believe the drive had 35 sectors/track... -- Simon Gales@The University of Kentucky simon@ms.uky.edu simon@UKMA.BITNET {rutgers, uunet}!ukma!simon
