Hello, You may remember that I posted several days ago describing my rather unpleasant experience with CMS and their Unix JTAPE drivers that I had been waiting for since the first of the year. Well, someone at CMS caught wind of my frustrations expressed here on the net and went to quite a bit of trouble to contact me personally and together we worked out a satisfactory solution. While I still feel that they have taken *WAY* to long to get something out (an downscaled interim version would have helped some), I must say that my faith in CMS has been restored with respect to their willingness to consider and individual client's dilema and work with them. From what I have seen so far, the new driver will have been well worth the wait! :-) Mark. -- Mark J. Bailey, N4XHX "We do our JOB, so you can do yours!" Would you be willing to clue the rest of us in on the solution? I'm kind of surprised to hear there is a satisfactory solution. Since the way it's used on Interactive Unix is by attaching it as a floppy disk drive, I wonder if they supply their own driver, or what? If so, how does it affect real floppy drives? -- Guy Finney It's that feeling of deja-vu UUCS inc. Phoenix, Az all over again. ncar!noao!asuvax!hrc!uucs1!gaf sun!sunburn!gtx!uucs1!gaf
