Tom, I'm afraid there must have been some miscommunication.

My wife, who works for SCO, regularly uses a Hewlett-Packard
486 box, running SCO Open Desktop. She says "it's sexy."
The COMPAQ DeskPro, which uses a 486, also runs SCO Open Desktop.
It is patently false to say that SCO has not tested Open Desktop
in 80486 environments.
