[comp.unix.sysv386] Archive tape driver under SysV4

carroll@sunc6.cs.uiuc.edu (Alan M. Carroll) (09/20/90)

I may be upgrading from 386/ix 2.0.2 to Intel's SysV4 in the near
future, and I'd
like my Archive cartridge tape drive to come with me. I assume that the
odds are
0 that the current driver will run under SysV4. Does anyone have/know of
Archive
drivers for a 150Meg Viper for SysV4? Thanks.

P.S. If you know of any nice Ether cards that work under 2.0.2 or 2.2 for under
$300, that'd be nice to know to. Thanks!

The WD ethernet plus (8003) cards usually run in the range of upper 100s to
lower 200s from many mail order places. These work fine under 2.0.2 and 2.2.
