I noticed that a new version of mtools was posted to unix-pc.sources on Sept. 17. These commands seem to work better than those included with Esix D. They can even read the DOS partition on my hard disk (Mess-DOS 3.3), and they correctly handle subdirectories without barfing with "getfat??" garbage. Since many of you probably don't get unix-pc.sources, I can mail copies to a few people, or (re)post (where???) if there is enough interest. Please tell me if you want the nroff'd output from the man pages. Dan Yergeau yergeau@ee-cf.stanford.edu #include <disclaimer.std>

Whoa... There is no need to repost. I mailed the source for Mtools v2.0 to Rich Salz on the same day that I posted it to unix-pc.sources. That means that it will appear in comp.sources.unix in a few millenniums. Emmet P.
