Can anyone help me? I have experience with BSD system's use of #! to specify an interpreter. The problem is that I am on system V.3.2 and want to mix a combination of Bourne and C shell scripts. I am coming to the conclusion that the scripts can not contain anything that will specify what interpreter will execute on them. I have a mix of people who use the Bourne shell and the C shell as their login shells. Ho do I execute an arbitrary command without having to know what language the command is written in?
