Can someone tell me what 'machenv' does in the Interactive kernel? I got the Archive Viper drivers on floppy but after I install them on my non-ISC UNIX the kernel build bombs on the undefined symbol 'machenv'. I don't mind dummying it up but I have to know how it's defined and what it's supposed to return or contain. -- "NASA Awards Acronym Generation :(%( : Tom Neff System (AGS) Contract For Space : )%): tneff%bfmny@UUNET.UU.NET Station Freedom" - release 1989-9891 :(%( : ...!uunet!bfmny0!tneff

It is a structure that contains contains the machine type, and several machine configurations items (like display type, math co-processor and type, etc). It (and the element settings) is defined in <sys/machenv.h>. -- Conor P. Cahill (703)430-9247 Virtual Technologies, Inc., uunet!virtech!cpcahil 46030 Manekin Plaza, Suite 160 Sterling, VA 22170
