[net.ham-radio] Aircraft Freq's

espo@bpa.UUCP (Bob Esposito) (06/04/84)

Does anyone have a listing of the freq's used by the major
airlines for air-to-ground communications for their respective
	companies??

Also, I would appreciate ANY freq's given (towers, control, approach,
	departure, ground, etc).

	Thanks in Advance

The easiest way to find the "public" frequencies - towers, IFR control
centres, etc., is to use the same publications the pilots use. In
Canada, you'd want something called the VFR and IFR supplements - they
list all air traffic frequencies needed by pilots. There must be
corresponding FAA publications. Find a nearby pilot (or flying club)
and ask.

I think he wants the commercial frequencies used by the particular
airlines not the ATC and UNICOM frequencies listed in the AOPA books.
