I was given a version of AIX 1.1 for the PS/2, and was wondering if it is possible to configure AIX to work on a standard 386 clone. The AIX Operating System Boot diskette continues to try to set NVRAM like it was a PS/2 and since it can find none, it aborts installation. Is there anyway around this? Anyway to force it to install on a 386 clone, or is it totally PS/2 specific?
