Apologies if this is a frequently-asked-question, but is there any way to force a system coredump if a machine is hung? (System is a Zenith 386 running Interactive System V/386 release 2.2).

Install the Kernel Debugger via kconfig and if your system is hanging (most time the debugger is still accessable) press alt-ctrl-d to enter the debugger and give the keyword sysdump<return> Better see you man-pages about 'debugger' before or read the manuals !
