This seems rather strange. I've been in the process of making a "disaster floppy" (on /dev/dsk/f0q15d, mounted as /mnt). This floppy starts out as a copy of the BOOT floppy (this is all 2.0.2). During the process, I need to remove some unneeded files to make room for other things (like a /unix with a tape driver, etc.) However, I'm finding that sporadically, but frequently, the act of rm'ing a file on the floppy results in an immediate kernel panic -- type 0xE. This system is normally rock solid, but I've made very little use of the floppy except to load new software installations up to now. Does any of this sound familiar to anyone? Thanks. --Lauren--
