I tried ESDI (primary) Adaptec RLL (secondary) SCSI (for tape only). This is not supported by the configuration tools and hand patching didn't work for me... :-( So I took out the RLL: ESDI (primary), SCSI (for tape). --Fails to boot. Seems like ISC or the driver is waiting for a SCSI disk to come along (works with DOS and SYTOS, though). Next try: ESDI (primary, Compaq 150MB (WREN III?)), SCSI (HP xxx (650MB)): Fails to boot as well. Somebody I know seems to have had the same problem ever since he upgraded to 2.2. Mixing SCSI and ESDI/MFM/RLL is supposed to have worked under 2.0.2. I would like to see official support for the first configuration (2*AT + SCSI), because of SCSI tape drives. PS. Hauppauge acknowledged that the 'driver problem' for the 1542/4860-EISA combination can be fixed by a new motherboard, also. We got a new motherboard on monday: it didn't work at all. It's like bying a Ferrari: expect oil on your fingers every day... We are switching over to BMW's (build in Taiwan), they actually work! (A486 motherboard by AGC) ---- Thomas M.
