We are planning to upgrade a number of XTs and an 286-AT to a 386 via a new motherboard. What things should we be wary of? As far as the XTs go, how compatible are the old drives and controllers with a 386SX or 386DX motherboard (assuming we don't care about speed!) We will be running ISC on the AT, and DOS on the XTs. Hauppauge Computer Works claims to have software that will "speed up" the slow XT controller and drives, and take care of any compatibility problems. Any comments? Thanks. -- Bob Ford (814) 234-8592x36 INTERNET: phillies@attmail.com UUCP: psuvax1!astph!bob Philadelphia Phillies
