Well, ESIX is now up and running on my '386/33 using a 40meg IDE drive. I also have two 100meg Quantum drives in the system and am using an Adaptec AHA-1540 SCSI Host Adapter to connect to the PC bus. When I attempt to create partitons on the SCSI drives, ESIX successfully accesses the drives, writes the partition table and does a 'bad-sector-scan'. It then asks me about the name of the 'user' partition, and attempts to write that information to disk. A message comes up on /dev/console (no matter where I run diskadd from) that says: AHA: Unknown host adapter status: 00000016 Does anyone have any idea what is going on here? I have tried calling the ESIX folks (415) 683-ESIX, but I don't ever get any answer (their fax machine does not pickup either...) -abc -- Alan B.
