[comp.unix.sysv386] C++ for SCO/UNIX 386

nisse@isy.liu.se (Nils-Olof Johansson) (11/22/90)

Which C++ compiler should I choose for a X-Windows application on a
386 machine with SCO/UNIX?
	Thanks in advance!

SCO has chosen the C++ compiler from the former HCR company.
HCR has been baught by SCO and is now called SCO Canada. SCO will offer
that tool at the end of 1Q91 but it will not be included in the ODT package.
A price is not yet fixed, but it seems to me that we should take a closer
look on that compiler.... because they'll know why they've chosen this one.
This information has been provided on the ODT conference Nov. 27 in
Frankfurt.

Why pay money? G++ works; we're using it in a project here.
I've got patches for G++ 1.37.1; send E-Mail if you want them.
