SCO Support Level Supplements - 11/30/90
These are updates and "fixit" distributions from the Santa Cruz Operation.
Many of these are available via anonymous uucp - see the section at the end
of this file. These distributions are available to SCO customers who have
the corresponding products, and have registered the product serial numbers
with SCO. You can call, register your product, and order an SLS at

SCO Support Level Supplements Available via UUCP
Selected Support Level Supplements (SLS) are available for anonymous
UUCP transfer. Anonymous UUCP means that anyone who knows the phone number
and the login name can access. The login name to use is "uusls" (the fourth
character is the letter "l" rather than the numeral "1"), and there is no
password. The system name is "sosco". There are two modems available: a
2400-baud modem at (408) 425-3502, and a Telebit Trailblazer 9600-baud modem
at (408) 429-1786. Users should be familiar with UUCP transfers, and must
set up their system for UUCP transfer as described in the chapter "Building
a Remote Network with UUCP" in the SCO System Administrator's Guide.
All files reside in the directory /usr/spool/uucppublic/SLS. The first file
that should be requested is /usr/spool/uucppublic/SLS/info. This file
contains the names of all the other files that are available, and
instructions on how to install the SLS's once they have been received.
The info file will be updated as new SLS's are added, so customers
can periodically obtain this file to check for SLS's that have been
added to the system.
Not all SLS's will be available for uucp. SLS's that would not be
appropriate are those which correct problems with a product installation,
or consist of a substantial portion of a product.
