[comp.unix.sysv386] disk replacement for 386/20 + 386/ix 2.2

tan@bronson.uucp (Tan Bronson) (12/14/90)

I'm running out of disk space on my machine and (so far) am concidering
the following two options for the upgrade:
	a) 2 200M IDE 3.5" drives
	b) 2 200M SCSI 3.5" drivers + Aha-1542b

Can/should I run each IDE on a separate controller?
Would the aha-1542b gain enough to justify the price?
Is my SCSI gain only because I have two controllers? (i.e. if I
were to buy a single 400M drive does it still make sense)

    thanks.
