i have X11R3, the ESIX distribution, just reinstalled today my com ports are like this: com1 : irq 4 com2 : irq 5 com3 : irq 2 com4 : irq 3 my mouse, a logitech unit, is on com 2 X11R3 won't see it. i know my irq settings are correct, and i'm pretty certain i ran 'initasy' properly.. is X restrictd in wht it will see? that would be pretty silly.. any further suggestions? also, since i've not paid attention, does anyone have the complete X11R4 for ESIX in binary format? thankx. tim tjreynol@zephyr.cair.du.edu 303 782 0562

Why not move com2 back to IRQ 3 and move com4 to IRQ 5, that might help as com2 with IRQ 3 is the standard setup.
