We are considering installing PC-NFS at our site. If anyone has experience with ISC's PC-Interface product could you answer the following: Does it require NFS under it? Can it do remote backups, mail, peer to peer transfers? Is it a worth while product? How difficult is it to maintain/install? adTHANKSvance -- Joe Broniszewski || Philadelphia || (814) 234-8592x4 astph!joe@psuvax1 || Phillies || psuvax1!astph!joe

Over the last week or so, I've been engaged in a number of discussions both in news and by E-mail with various people regarding PC-Interface. On Monday, we replaced a disk drive on this machine, but there was a news feed and some outgoing mail that got caught between the backup of the old drive and the restore of the data to the new drive. In particular, I think two pieces of my outgoing mail bounced, but the return messages were lost before I could read them. If any of you sent mail to me, or posted a message on this topic, and got no response, I'm not ignoring you. Please send me mail if you have questions about this product ( unix hosted file, print, terminal, and remote execution support for MS-DOS PCs).
