Hello fellow netters My problem with above SW and HW combination is that it does not work as it should be. Controller is found during boot up and when I try to use the tape (tar, cpio, dump) it first rewinds the tape and starts the dumping. But it never gets anything to the tape, halts for a minute or so and prints the ever so helpfull 'Tape write error' message. If you can help me with this problem, please let me know! Controller type is 5125? and drive is Caliper's 120MB version.
