[comp.unix.sysv386] Thomas Roell's Server

mitchemt@silver.ucs.indiana.edu (Terry Mitchem) (01/10/91)

I have a couple of questions concerning Thomas Roell's Xserver
for 386 unix.
	1) What in the heck is STREAMS and why do I need it?
	2) Is this a sufficient system for running X:
		- 386/25
		- 8 megs of ram
		- 120 megs free disk space
		- Paradise VGA+ card and multisync 3d monitor
	3) What is the problem with the pvga chipset??

All help is very much appreciated. I just want to run X on this machine only
since I have no interest in networking and running clients on other machines.
				Thanks,
