hardware: IPC 386 @ 25MHz, USR Courier V.32 modem software: ISC 3.2.2, pre-patched trn compiled with 3.2.0.2 cc remote user calls in modem, starts up trn in "rn" mode. at some point during the rn session, something hangs, and the system does not acknowlege anything from the serial line. after 10 minutes the inactivty timer on the modem causes it to hang up. at this point, under FAS 2.07, both the users csh and rn are still "active" and must be manually killed by the root, otherwise anybody attempting to call in will arrive smack-dab in the middle of the hung trn and will not be able to do anything. under the ISC asy driver, the hangup of the modem appears to terminate the users csh and trn. anybody else have this/a similar problem? -- Vort Computing is a non-profit organization, but i didn't plan it that way... This is a known bug in FAS 2.07. It is fixed in FAS 2.08 which I will release in the next few weeks.
