I'm running ISC 2.2 with their X 1.2 release. I'd like to increase the number of xterm (or xpcterm) windows on my display. I've increased the number of ptys from 16 to 24 by modifying /etc/conf/sdevice.d/pty and /etc/conf/node.d/pty. I've added PTC_UNITS 16 8 24 to /etc/conf/cf.d/mtune and PTC_UNITS 24 to /etc/conf/cf.d/stune. I rebuilt the kernal but cannot start any more xterms than before. The error message I get is: X Toolkit Error: Can't Open display. What am I missing here?
