[comp.unix.sysv386] Gnu g++ and groff on SCO 3.2

rbraun@spdcc.COM (Rich Braun) (01/15/91)

I've been struggling for a few days trying to get groff up and running
on SCO Unix 3.2. g++ and libg++ from FSF don't build properly due to
things like the 14-character filename limit (and they seem to want
Gnu ld; perhaps I need to get that too). Without a properly functioning
g++, I can't build groff from source.

Is there an ftp site with SCO binaries including groff? Has anyone else
already gone through the heading of building g++ under SCO?

Thanks,
-rich
