I would like to hear from anyone who has successfully ported Roell's server to ESIX Rev. D. I can get almost everything to compile but it chokes on the et3000, et4000 etc drivers. I am using gcc 1.39 with the ESIX distributed as and ld, since I have as yet no gotten the gcc binutils ld to compile successfully. BTW, I have gotten gas 1.38 to compile with gcc. If anyone is using the complete gcc stuff in place of the ESIX I would also like to hear from them. Finally, what is the difference between COFF and the a.out mentioned in the gcc docs and what does the standard loader under ESIX expect to see. Congratulations, to Tom Roell. I have used his server on a friend's ISC machine and can't wait to get it running under ESIX. BTW, if anyone has the config files for an Orchid ProDesigner II with a NANAO 9070U, I would also like that info. Thanks -- Jim Chandler asuvax!xroads!beagle!chandler chandler@beagle.uucp
