[comp.unix.sysv386] 386 Unix Security Bug

dswartz@bigbootay.sw.stratus.com (02/13/91)

Well, I tried the program submitted a couple of days ago by someone
else which allegedly gives root privileged to anyone who wants them
under Interactive Unix. Since I run ESIX Rev D on my machine at
home, I was more than curious if the problem existed there too.

IT DOES!

Is this a bad joke, or what?

Yes, it's a small AM station in Dallas, Georgia. I believe it took those
call letters after the TV show became popular. I guess it just wanted to
capitalize on some free publicity.

More useless information to clutter your brain...
