[comp.unix.sysv386] troubles with non-blocking reads from stdin on ISC 2.2 pseudo ttys

OK, I'll give it a try. But what makes me wonder is the fact that the way
I handle the problem always *works* except when I'm running on a pty!!
Could someone tell me why this happens?
