I just tried it on my two systems: 1) ISC 2.0.2; Everex STEP/25 with coprocessor - the program runs and chmods the /etc/passed file as advertised 2) ESIX Rev. D; AMPTRON 386/33 with coprocessor - the program runs and chmods the /etc/passed file as advertised Fortunately these are both essentailly single-user (me), but they're on our local ethernet. Sigh..... Thanks, Joern, for your posting forcing getting these dudes to get off the pot. Echoing Karl's sentiments - they'd better post fixes to the net and not "restrict" them to "official channels" - look what "official channels" has gotten us *so* far! kEITHe
