[comp.unix.sysv386] Tape suggestions

tjreynol@zephyr.cair.du.edu (Tim) (03/15/91)

apologies for my utter lack of research..

I need an external tape drive that will write DC6150 tapes
it needs to work under DOS, and SYS V, pref. ISC AND SCO

minimum hassle and maximum reliability are a must;

this drive will be writing LOTS AND LOTS of tapes.

price is probably not a factor,

THANK!
Tim

Buried in the midst of an earlier posting, I asked about writing low-density
tapes using a high-density Mountain tape drive under SCO Unix 3.2.2.

Having gotten no reply on that issue, I'll ask it again. Is it possible
to use a DC-300 tape in the aforementioned drive?
