If you are really serious then in order to improve efficiency you must demand a higher speed. Something on the order of 20 WPM or higher. This would allow traffic to be passed almost as fast as ASCII. I believe all hams should be required to demonstrate 20 WPM minimum if they want morse code. Any less would cause tremendous delays. That poor bastard on the highway, with his blood draining out as he taps SOS with his battery cables at 5 WPM would wish he had improved his speed. PS To those people who have been complaining about my spelling, I didn't realize that you demanded so much english accuracy on this note. I think I'm doing pretty good since I just learned the language 5 years ago. (Russian) And I would like to relay something I learned on the bus the other day: /////net news expletive deleted/////
