I am trying to get MicroEMACS 3.10 to run under Dynix/ptx (which is a POSIX compliant implementation of System V 3.2, and which conforms to the Binary Compatibility Specification for the Intel 386). So far I have had no success. Have you succeeded/failed to get MicroEMACS running under ptx or a similar flavour of Unix? If so I'd be interested in hearing from you. ---- Sweyn Hunter, Systems Programmer, The Administration, Sussex House, University of Sussex, Falmer, Brighton BN1 9RH, UK Tel: +44 273 606755 JANET: sh@uk.ac.sussex.admin MOST OTHER NETWORKS:sh@admin.sussex.ac.uk

If so I'd be interested in hearing from you. Mg 2a installed without many problems on dynix/ptx. I think I only did one fix special for it, relating to one of the bsd unix features present in dynix/ptx. (I think it was related to suspend.) I could supply a diff if you need it. Mg 2a is available from snow.white.toronto.edu. -- Bob Larson (blars) blarson@usc.edu usc!blarson Hiding differences does not make them go away. Accepting differences makes them unimportant.

From the sounds of it you are not! BCS is supported on PTX ver 1.2 and up.
