[comp.unix.sysv386] SCO Unix disk usage

knutta@lise.unit.no (Knut Alfredsen) (05/31/91)

I have a question about diskusage under Open Desktop. I have recently installed
Open Desktop on my pc. I have two hard disks, one which is 120 Mb and one which is 130 Mb. I installed the system on the 120 Mb disk, and I made a /local filesystem on the other disk. Now I want to install the Roell Xserver, a Fortran compiler and a couple of other programs. When I try to do this all the programs are
put under the root filesystem, and that disk is nearly full.

Is there a way to install programs in another filesystem with the custom program, or what should I do to increase the root filesystem using the other disk.

I hope someone could help me.

Thanks.

Knut Alfredsen
