qst de k9eui hr propagation forecast bulletin nr 38 from arrl headquarters newington ct september 17, 1984 to all radio amateurs bt the solar flux fell steadily, from 93 on sept 3 to 73 on the 15th and 16th. this range of flux variations is reminiscent of the summer of 1977. the last time we had two days with the flux at 73 came in the middle of april of that year, when cycle 21 was only nine months old. despite the solar flux decline, radio propagation was generally fair to good, and getting better, thanks to the improving position of the
