The subject and summary almost say it all. Since I can create a C drive at will and move DOS files onto it, is this a safe approach to testing software for viruses? At first glance, it would appear that any damage done would only "damage" my C drive, which is just another Unix file under VP/ix. To date, I haven't tried this approach, not knowing if there are loopholes in VP/ix which might permit more obnoxious activity to take place. -- Doug Lee (dlee@athenanet.com or uunet!pallas!dlee)
