qst de k9eui hr arrl bulletin nr 81 from arrl headquarters newington ct september 26, 1984 to all radio amateurs bt nasa hq. has forwarded to johnson space center, jsc, the joint arrl/amsat proposal to have astronaut tony england, w0ore, carry amateur equipment with him in his flight scheduled for next april, see arrl letter volume 3 number 11. the proposal has been accepted philosophically by nasa, jsc engineering personnel must now make technical and feasibility assessments. arrl expects nasa to send a letter to the two organizations in a few weeks informing them of the acceptance contingent upon the project meeting all nasa technical and operational criteria ar
