I ams, and trying to put together a few things on my own and keep running up again the problem of inductors (and transformers) not being as availiable as R's and C's. What do most people do to cope with this problem. I assume that you wind your own but there are many things required to do this. Cores, wire, and slugs are to name a few. Not to mention some sort of charts which tell you which core, wire, and windings to use to get the size that you want. (I know that straight physics of the problem would result in a very poor approximation to this problem). Is there a kit sold by someone which has all the goodies needed to build your own inductors with reasonable accuracy? Are there other solutions to the problem? I would prefer that you mail your responses directly to me and I will post a summary if requested. Perry convex!smu!pedz
