Does anyone have any experience with Lynx Real-Time Unix? Are you happy with it? Comments, please. I'm trying to read in data from an I/O card at very high rates, process it minimally, and store it to a SCSI hard disk. DOS is brain-dead in that it doesn't use DMA for the transfer, tying up the '486 causing the input FIFO to overflow and lose data. Lynx's forte is supposed to be in dealing with such problems....
