1) This is a quick vote for SWL/Scanner info on this list.
2) I would appreciate any information (including vague impressions)
about various SWL antennas. The antenna can be placed outside in
a suburban location (a few reasonable sized trees, not a huge amount
of space). The radio is a Sony 2001 without any external tuner.
How do active antennas really compare to outside antennas, how do
trapped dipoles compare to longwires, which antennas benefit greatly
from tuners? If anyone cares to recommend specific models, so much
the better. Thanks in advance.
