If the VOX switch is off and it does it, it's broken just like mine! Yaesu service center in California has had it once and didn't fix the problem so it's going back via UPS tomorrow (10/19/84) to give them another shot at it. If it's repaired when it comes back this time, I'll post the fix to the net. Aside from this annoying problem, the radio seems to do a pretty good job. 73's, Jim Gerke, KC50A Infoswitch Corp.
