It seems that every time Glenn Hauser announces some change or revision in the World of Radio broadcast schedule, and I post it on the net, it gets changed again, or changed back, during the following week. So it is yet again! The following applies to the broadcasts via WRNO shortwave: The previously-announced plan to move the (US time) Saturday evening broadcast to Friday evening, to avoid pre-emption by football, has been cancelled, due to WRNO's decision. Don't know why. Here is the new schedule, effective 28 October with the change back to Standard Time. The World of Radio broadcasts will stay the same local time, but shift in GMT due to this change. 0530 GMT Saturdays (11:30 PM Fridays Central Time) on 6185 kHz 0230 GMT Sundays (8:30 PM Saturdays Central Time) on 7355 kHz 1400 GMT Sundays (8:00 AM Sundays Central Time) on 11965 kHz Note that the broadcasts on 26/27 October will be on at the same local time as listed, but one hour earlier by GMT, as the time will not have changed yet. The 0230 GMT Sunday broadcast will probably be pre-empted by football most weekends while the season drags on... Will Martin
