Previously, I was asked how one can take action or gain help in relation to cases that are of interest to those who wish to protect the future of the electronic frontier. (This was in relation to a story on Prodigy released by the Associated Press) I was unable to answer the message before it scrolled away on the site which I have access. Here are my thoughts... A bit late -- but now available for what they are worth. Correcting what is reported in the press is up to those who know what's what. Ultimately, much depends on how closely you can follow a given case and whether you make press contacts to empower the press with what you know. My previous comments are aimed more at situations where gross errors are made about how and why people use computers and modems. An army of millions is not necessary to pick up the phone, call a reporter, and tell him or her that there are some inaccuracies in a story they wrote/reported on. On the other hand, this should not be left up to just one person either. There is a viable middle ground. Walter
